If it is heat creep, there are more reasons than chamber temperature. Simplest: The hotend fan doesn’t work. When you manually set hotend temperature to 60°C, it should turn on. If it doesn’t, the issue could be the small hotend board or the bigger one on the back of the print head. I never remember their names ![]()

It seems I’m an idiot, and these issues were down to some settings somewhere in the file downloaded through Bambu Studio. I saved the single file as a stl. and imported to an instance of Bambu Studio using my own settings, the print has taken a little longer than it would have done with the original settings (30 mins more) but it’s now completed successfully. It’s certainly not a perfect print, but it’s got lots of angles and curves so i’m really pleased with how it’s turned out.
I’ll have to do some investigating to find out what setting, or settings it was that kept causing it to fail, i just didn’t expect that some settings in Bambu Studio could make it fail in such a way.
