So my H2D seems to be pretty brilliant at printing PLA, ABS, and ASA. But I have had print artifacts with PETG filaments with it. The filaments I’ve been using I know are 100% fine and dry, as they’ve been used to print in the X1C right next to it and print perfectly.
First time it really popped up was actually the first H2D print in PETG I did, “Planter with legs” by SabreDesign on Makerworld. I printed it in voxel PETG+ so I assumed at the time it was just an issue with the filament I chose.

Yesterday though I was printing “Case for filament swatches” by Cedric, also from Makerworld, using the prior voxel filament for the inner part, and white Bambu PETG HF for the outer part. The outer part was what ended up printing terribly this time around; the voxel filament worked fine.
It seems like the PETG might be whisping up during printing and getting stuck on the nozzle, until eventually enough of it builds up and it deposits as a blob on the print? That’s kind of what the timelapses show on both anyway. The only thing I really could find in common between the two when slicing was that in both, the print speed was very much on the slow side for the area that had artifacts when printing.
Anyone have any ideas on what’s going on here and how to resolve it? As it stands, I can usually print PETG stuff on my old X1C and sidestep the issue, but I’d really like to figure out what’s going on.
