Issues with ABS-GF

This is my first print with this filament and in general, I am still pretty new to 3D printing. I’m using Bambu filament, the AMS-HT, and default print settings with a 0.4 tungsten hot end. I dried it first for 7-1/2 hours at 80°c. The AMS read 10° humidity. After drying it, I had to wait a bit for the AMS to cool down before it would begin printing.

The first picture shows striations on one wall, the second pic shows striations on the other wall, but a little more pronounced. The third pic shows separation between the layers. I also found that the opposite wall is separating just as the third pic shows. I’m hoping someone can provide advice on how to correct these issues. I’m assuming it’s related to either temp, speed, or both. It took a little over an hour to print. As a straight part it would be about 8” long, 1” wide and 0.25” thick. An hour seems kind of long, to me, but I wouldn’t care if it took three hours if I could get a good print.

Thank you

That doesn’t mean the filament is dry, only the air around the filament is dry. Try drying it some more. Striations and layer separation from printing GF filaments could be an indication of dampness or nozzle and chamber temps being too low.

Have you tried printing with the stock nozzle and seeing if you have similar issues?
