Ontrac is one of Bambu’s delivery partners. Every single shipment I’ve gotten from them is delivered by the courier tossing it up about 10 feet of stairs so he doesn’t have to walk up.
Other than saving the videos (which are nice because even if, by miracle of miracles, he ever doesn’t throw a package) I can simply re-use one of the throwing ones in a warranty claim. I have one of in every possible outfit and every weather condition now.
Obviously this isn’t a support thing, but what do you do?
After months of bitching, they now only ship my orders with UPS or Yunexpress.
I was able to get through to someone through multiple tickets that was able to set a preferred shipper. You get a little bit of leverage when they loose over 1000 dollars in merchandise.
If nothing is damaged, just ignore it. If something is damaged, complain until it is replaced. As example, I have never had a box from Yunexpress show up in “perfect” condition, but it has always gotten to me. With OnTrac the damage doesnt matter because there is a 50 percent chance you will never receive your package.
File a BBB complaint and go on Trustpilot. Thats all you can do.
OnTrac has abysmal customer support. It wont make a difference how much you complain to them.
Sounds to me, from what you’re saying guys, like they should be called Off Trac instead of On Trac . I think it would probably prove useful for any of this forum users if a specific topic would be created where people may name (and shame) any and all of Bambu’s chosen shipping and delivery 3rd party partners that have proven time and again to be unreliable, with deceiving and misleading practices, that users (and Bambu specifically) should avoid.
Though there are plenty of user posts on this forum, complaining on the lack of professionalism and of care of Bambu’s choices for 3rd parties shipping and delivery partners overall around the world, Bambu doesn’t really seem to care about that.
I think that by having a dedicated topic on Bambu’s chosen carriers, where users share their (good or bad) experiences might (eventually) lead to convincing Bambu’s management to require and/or impose to those carriers higher quality assurance criteria when it comes to being selected as shipping and delivery partner for a specific area.
Having such a dedicated topic would definitely bumb up the matter not necessarily to Bambu’s logistic staff directly, but rather through webpage indexing and rating, to a much larger audience, not necessarily involved with 3d printing, which, eventually, will have the desired impact on Bambu’s choices for vetting its logistics partners. Just thinking out loud here. What do you guys think? Is it worth the effort?
This is my experience in the uk, last week with their delivery company DPD.
I had 2 parcels for delivery Wednesday, driver didnt give enough time to get to the door. I work nights.
Then I get email saying the parcels are at a shop for pickup.
I go there and they don’t have them.
I ring call centre and rearrange delivery to me for Thursday.
The driver takes it back the shop, who again refuse it.
I ring call centre again, set it up for delivery on Friday.
It didn’t turn up.
Rang call centre AGAIN.
They set up delivery for Tuesday as I’m not in Monday.
Now i check and its gone back to bambu labs
I found this thread searching about who and what ontrac is… apparently i get to experience the incompetence now and have ZERO clue when and if I will receive my order 4 days later and no movement of my stuff expected arrival date was 2 days ago and its apparently only 1 state away. horrible experience as most of the time Bambu has been pretty prompt at least with tracking info and not just thrown into the delivery abyss…
It finally happened, I got my 1st non-thrown ontrac delivery today. I think it is filament three boxes. He actually carries them up the stairs. Well it was a fun run while it lasted, maybe 10 in a row, I guess the counter resets.
