… only as long as you don’t have to loosen the PTFE tubes on the 4 side.
I pray for the day of 40A existing and actually being able to print it. Would be great to be able to print engine mounts.
Sorry for the double post. Man that’s an amazing looking print!
@EinUrElf
I just reach around the machine. I put it low enough, that its easy to reach. Almost like how youre supposed to load tpu. Or like accessing a buffer on an x1c, only easier because no spring to dig through or recessed release/button.
@BaIto Thanks, I only wish I had remembered to turn on scarf joint so there was no seam on the TPU seal. Gonna have to try and trim it off with a razor
Is that with fuzzy skin? I’m still trying to learn the finer things about printing. lol
Nope. Just PETG-CF. This is why some reviewers love posting cf parts. They are always beautiful. ABS-GF is one of my favorites atm.
Wow this makes me even more excited to print this PAHT-CF I bought when I bought my AMS-HT. I also picked up a roll of the deep purple PETG-CF, I think I’m gonna dry that and give it a try this week.
Thank you for responding! I appreciate you sharing your insight.
Just tidying things up and printing accessories this weekend. Only thing missing is the ams ht.
Also printing some 85a tpu with the .6 nozzle. Seems to be working great from the side spool, through ptfe tube
I wonder if screw rod covers whould be a good thing to print, maybe 1" sections that interconnect or out of TPU just in case there’s a collision. Put them on once the height is set, remove when done. Could possibly even print removable masks for the extruders. Might help keep the crud out.
I need one that can house either merv 4 filter material or some of that air vent filter material that people put on their homes vents to filter the dust.
Something to catch the dust without impeding air flow.
Dang. Good idea. I didnt even think of filtering it. Even a simple dust screen would be nice.
Definitely! I can already see the dust building up in my printer from it sucking it in lol.
Same here! Bottom of the top glass cover is full of dust
85a TPU. .6 nozzle. These were a pain in the butt and took 5 days of babysitting the roll of filament. The 85a filament likes to stick to itself while on the roll. Like it was rolled too tight because of stretch. The roll got ripped off the holder I was using 4 times(when the toolhead moved fast). This is what caused the missing layers. Had to feed it from the open top. Soft TPU was obviously an afterthought on a printer with 2 nozzles. Doesnt make sense. I also dont understand why we cantvhave 95a in the left nozzle. Would have been nice to do the bottom of the shoe in a harder black tpu. Maybe ill run it again on the XL. I had tested it on the textured plate, but it ripped when trying to remove it.
Well, looks like this thread died 12 days ago. Only 23 people saw it. Ouch. Guess I’ll leave the revieweing to the youtubers.
They just don’t know what they’re missing out on. I appreciate all the work you put into sharing your experiences with your devices. We all live vicariously through your printer purchases
I think I’m pretty much certain to get an H2D. Peoples experiences with it have been generally good, so that bodes well for it. Will probably be on the fence for a while trying to figure out if the laser edition is right for me or not. Need more people willing to share their experiences such as you have to get a better feel for it.
or 23 people looked a bunch of times lol. Thread is dead either way. Im glad a few people got some info from it and I appreciate those that joined in.
