Just bought a H2C, have some questions!

Hi.
After reading and looking on Youtube I ordered a H2S now and I think it will be fine.
I have a P2S with 3 AMS now so is used to the multicolor, but have some questions.
Can you use both nosel to connect to the AMS?
Love the bigger build volume and the software that I think is really good.
Any other out there that ordered it, mine is set to be sent in Dec 12.

H2C or H2S?
Just my question for now

Assuming you are talking about the H2C (despite the erroneous and confusing H2S reference) because you later ask about both nozzle, the H2S only has one.

Yes, you can hook up an AMS to neither, either or both nozzles at the same time.

Also bambu will release an auto switcher in the future, that will allow the AMS to be automatically routed to either hot end.

I just hope that isn’t a promise that ends up arriving when the printer is already outdated — much like the rotary tool for the H2D, which still appears to be a very distant prospect.

I have a question as well, do I need additional nozzles? I purchased the standard kit and I see they sell a nozzle kit which comes with 3 of the new nozzles and 2 of the older style.

Does the H2C come with all of the nozzles populated when purchasing the standard kit?

Standard H2C comes with:

Vortek: four 0.4mm, one 0.2mm, one 0.6mm.
Standard nozzles: two 0.4mm.

holy moly I should make a meme about this.
I want rotary laser module so badly. And infrared laser.

Heads up to the creator of this post:

  • Your H2S’ build plate and enhanced toolhead fan IS NOT compatible with your H2C
  • Your vision encoder (if you have one) IS compatible with the H2C
  • H2C and H2D support for different sized nozzle use at the same time is underway
  • Your filament swap time depends MOSTLY on the length of the PTFE tube, and has nothing to do with it taking longer to heat up, since that’s already nullified by the quick nozzle pickup time. Your AMS units should be placed directly behind the machine so you can cut the PTFE tubes to the shortest length you can possibly have.

Where do you see the delivery date?

Go to the H2C and click buy, now you can see the ETD on the bottom left.
Here in EU it’s Dec 12.

Looks like the H2C in the US is on backorder/preorder?

Just yesterday I was able to add to my cart and purchase…

You can still add to your cart and purchase, but won’t ship until November 25.

Yeah, just a change from when I just ordered one, which should be here in a few days to a week I expect. I wonder how many printers sold moved the H2C to that state, pre-order? Also, the H2S has been on backorder, did they not make that many or its just that hot? I would love to see the raw numbers.
