I just bought a P2S and it arrives in about 5 days. I’d like to know what other users with experience with this device have to say about it. I’ve been running an A1 combo for 6 months now and this is my next upgrade. Super excited!

Congratulations on your upgrade, my P2S arrived on 22 October and has been running flawless ever since. Printing Bambu PLA and PETG-HF and various brands of PLA (on the “Generic” settings, since there are no dedicated filament profiles yet.) I haven’t changed or “tweaked” any of the standard settings and this works great.

I just got my very first 3D printer ever. I got a P2S. So far we love it. Hope it keeps going that way so far. Need to figure out what free designer software to use. I’m not going to build any engr like stuff. So… but congrats on your new device.

I just got my P2S yesterday after having an A1 for the last several months. I’m loving the bamboo products! I suggest using fusion the free version it is intuitive and easy to use and there’s plenty of videos on YouTube as well as tutorials offered by fusion. I’ve tried using blender and that was tough. I’m not an engineer or designer of anything so you may have a different experience than I did.m So far my P2S it’s working just fine. I tend to run my printers about 16 to 20 hours a day 7 days a week. These printers are absolute work horses and replacement parts if needed are reasonably priced and the warranty did come in handy for me at one point. Have fun!

Congrats on your first printer! You asked what free designer to choose, but that depends on what you would like to design. For geometrical objects, I prefer Onshape. For “sculpting” 3D-models, I use Meshmixer. You could take a look at MakerWorld’s Maker Lab, where you can create a variety of 3D-models with little effort, though a lot of these benefit from some refinement (in something like Meshmixer). And another free 3D-model creation website is Tinkercad, where creating simple shapes is easy to start with.

I’ve had my P2S for about 5 days, and WOW. It’s been great since I plugged it in. I have found the Bambu slicer is easy to use. But, I’m struggling with Tinkercad, and I haven’t even considered jumping into to the Fusion pool yet. I need to wrap my head around the whole CAD concept. I’m an aircraft mechanic, so I’ve worked around mechanical drawings all my life. But I’m missing something on the creation side of things.

I have had mine for 4 days and I can say that it is working perfect. I have had several printers in the past and all have need tweaking to get prints to work, I have printed 10 items so far and have had zero fails.
