Just curious, would the printbed even capable of holding nearly 45kg?

Was curious. If you happy to print nearly 3.5 years in one go, you can print a full scale, 0.08mm layer hight, all walls, all layer ironing taking 3.5 years and 45kg filament … Seems heavy so not even sure a print bed could hold that ?

EDIT: Never mind, I just noticed you had PLA support. So it was in fact two colors(well filaments)

I like that you saved 223g of filament and 3912 changes on a SINGLE color print using dual nozzles with this printer instead of using a single nozzle printer for a single color. hahaha

Support filament is just a wrong label. Both sides are PLA. Result is the same.

I don’t think a print bed could hold that.

It might be able for the thread spindles to hold the bed, but the wear on the brass threads would be significant. Would be heavily depending on z-hop.
But weight would only be there at the end.

But, I would say, just try it out on a spare H2D.

On the X1 and P1 i printed a few large items with added ball bearings inside for extra weight. I would put in a pause and fill up the cavity of the print with the weights. The first layer after the pause would have a gap due to their weight compressing the bed tramming springs. What I wound up doing as a solution for those prints is tramming the bed to its lowest position so there would be no play in the spring of the bed. When I first got the H2D I checked and there are no spring on the bed, so it should do better with heavy and tall objects.

Sounds like a design flaw in the other printers then.
The weight of the bed should be held by the fixed primary nuts and the secondary nuts with springs should pull the bed down on the primary ones.
