They are taking the piss. American eBay, and if you want to send it to the UK, it is another 102 dollars for postage, lol.

Thats because they are sending it via USPS Priority Mail International
Although its worth mentioning that these days ebay doesn’t actually let you select specific couriers anymore as they use their “simple postage” system that just gives you a postage option with a reasonable shipping time, the seller also doesn’t even get that money anymore so even if they were to send it via a cheaper option ebay would just eat that shipping fee

And most of the time now they charge tariff upfront eventhough it rarely get charged duties at import. I would rather take my chances but you cannot opt out I don’t buy ebay international anymore…

They are their reusable spools, that price seems fine to me, do you know how much it would cost you to buy 9 bambu spools directly?

I offered on Bambu forums a few months ago. I had about 20 of the Sunlu spools Gen 2 free, and no one wanted them. But if someone is going to pay 32 dollars for 9, I should sell them instead of offering them for free. When did they offer it for free? You would have had to pay for postage, though.
I have seen this but does not apply in my case as I’m in Europe so it’s shipments from the US that I avoids not the other way around. Still if shipping companies planes are not going to the US, I wonder how shipments can come back or for US companies send planes to EU that come back empty…

I don’t think anyone would buy that (actual) trash for even $10 in person, never mind the shipping of bulky low weight items. I buy cardboard spools specifically so I can recycle and get rid of them without care.

I havent read it for detail ,but im going to assume it would involve something similar to ebays arrange your own postage/pickup, if that is possible for americans via usps

Think outside the box. Such spools can be used for many things, not just 3d printing. Some people will pay happily 1-2 bucks for such a spool to wrap stuff around it. They can be quite useful for many things. Ropes, chains, gift wraps, led christmas lights, wool, wires … whatever.
I agree in theory but I think in practice you will find that there really just is no acceptable market for that, it’s destiny is the incinerator. Nobody is paying $7-10 postage on even a free spool. I think we all generate way more empty spools than we could ever get rid.
Sure if you’re not using reusable spools and refills of filaments, which all of the smart producers will be moving to in order to reduce costs and shipping costs, a refill takes up less space than filament on a spool, also means they can advertise it cheaper
That’s $3.50 a spool, which is almost 1/4 what bambu spools cost from the store. For someone who relies on the AMS but uses colors not available as refills, this would be quite useful.
This is what ebay used to like in its heyday before it just became another shopfront.
I noticed yesterday that $3 is the price difference between buying a refill vs a spool of filament. That seems like a reasonable price to me. (But their price of $12 for just a spool by itself is right out.)

It just depends. You can print them or can buy empty spools of Sunlu Gen 2, or you can get Sunlu Gen 3, which fits in Ams Lite perfectly. But what I was saying is the amount of money they want for empty spools. About 3 months ago I could not give them away. Well, just postage. So no one wanted them so they went in bin.

Good luck getting genuine bambu on 3rd party/amazon/aliexpress/ebay lol! I can’t imagine there’s any profit if they mean “we buy actual bambu filament” so they probably dont

Is it not genuine? or just crap and you’re in America because in England they dont sell on our Amazon; you can in America get loads of stuff mate.
