Kind of stringing around the corners and in the roundings

Hi,
I’m currently printing this Laptop stand: Laptop stand V2 by Libb_s - MakerWorld

I’m using Bambu Filament and noticed these strange corners in the print. I’m using the first print profile from the designer. It seems that the filament shifted to the side, but I have no real idea why. I have a P1S, and I’m using a 0.4 nozzle.

The AUX fan is deactivated and the correct build plate is selected. Maybe I have to tighten the belts? My printer has now 300 hours.

One guess from me is that maybe the layer height of 0.28mm in combination with a 0.4mm nozzle could be the problem?

Rule of thumb: only print layer height max = 1/2 nozzle diameter.

Eg:

• 0.4mm nozzle, max layer height is 0.2mm
• 0.2mm nozzle, max layer height is 0.1mm

My first print with 3D printer was about 8 years ago using Geeetech i3 with 0.4mm nozle and 0.4mm layer height. It was fun

I will try it later once again with 0.2mm.

I printed the object once again with 0.2mm layer height and the corners are perfect now. So this is really good to know

• 0.4mm nozzle, max layer height is 0.2mm
• 0.2mm nozzle, max layer height is 0.1mm
