I was just thinking about how it can be very hard to be a student athlete. Often times, at school (and the workplace) people are not recognized for being a a kind human. Have you ever gotten a present for doing something that you felt was minor, but made a big impact on someone else?
I am introducing the prospect of this project for this very reason. 3D printing technology can be used for some of the worst things possible, such as creating things that can harm humans… but it can also be used to save lives and make them better.
I want to make a series of delivery capsules that I can put a small caramel or candy or something in + add a nice little note to and then give it to people when they do something I admire. If you were in their shoes, what are things you would like to see in the capsule? I was thinking about making it modern/ sci fi themed. What should the capsule be able to be used for after it is used for a delivery? (ex: Box, pill holder, glasses stand, makeup holder, gum holder, etc).

Candy comes in a wrapper. Simple solution.
I know if I were a student athlete I would love to receive a 3d printed capsule with 2 $100 bills.

Nice sentiment, but I am in the camp that participation is not worthy of a reward in sports.
It is in other things, but if you are asking two or more people to compete, there will only be one winner.
Encouragement is reward.
I am sorry if that sounds hard or anti-modern sentiment.
My friend’s kids don’t go outside or anywhere on their own, most don’t at school age. That needs some attention.

This project is about awarding people for being kind or helpful to others. When they receive a gift, and others see this, others will begin to have the confidence to be kind as well.
Aside from this, I am wondering more about possible design and usage idea, rather than the moral opinion about it.
Nice idea! I dont have time to do anything on this right now, but I’ll add it to my list to design some capsules in the future with a nice note on them and I can put whatever I want into them. Just for friends or family to say thankyou now and again. I’m thinking a capsule like the kinder egg toy surprise capsules, but with different designs like praying hands etc. Like how people modified the generic benchy into all sorts of shapes. Only problem is that my wife doesn’t like me putting more plastic into the world 
What are you thinking about usage for the design? (Ex: some people may want the design to be a container so they can put gum in it).
