I have been trying out Orca Slicer in LAN Mode.
Can’t remember how i connected to the A1 printer, was likely with Access Code and IP address.
But today I was trying to connect using Bambu Studio but could not get it to connect to my A1 (I wanted to create and test a Bambu Studio project file before uploading it.)
I tried removing printer from Orca Slicer but could not connect again from Orca to A1 using Access Code and IP address.
Orca presents a manual button when IP/Access code screen fails and allows you to connect using the A1 serial number and it connected fine with that.
But, Bambu Studio does not have a manual button, so cannot use Bambu Studio at present (Which is fine because I would prefer to use Orca Slicer.
Anyone managed to connect via lan mode to A1 using the IP/Access code? I think the first time I tried Orca I got it to connect via that method but cannot remember.
Both A1 printer and PC are on same network via fixed DHCP reservation on router.

Short version: Your A1 is in LAN Mode, but Bambu Studio cannot use the IP + Access Code workflow because Studio does not support manual LAN binding for the A1 on older firmware. Orca does. That’s why Orca succeeds (via the serial‑number fallback) and Studio fails (no fallback, no LAN‑bind path).
