Why is my X1C uploading Gigabytes of data to dedicated.com. IP Addresses (66.23.200.66, 173.234.30.210, 66.23.200.154, 34.208.11.28) I’m guessing its some sort of video streaming data, but why…
I don’t want the camera broadcasting out to the world and using a-lot of my bandwidth. I have currently blocked outgoing port 10001 UDC on the x1c, and that has allowed me to use the camera on my LAN, and stop the data upload.
I think it is totally unacceptable for this to be the default, that your data is streamed to some unknown server who knows where. You @BambuStudios should make sure people want to stream data out of their home before defaulting this on.
ooooh, maybe you are DDOSing orca… Just kidding of course.
Does the data stream stop when you turn your cam off? ThroughTek (tutk) is/was what was being used for remote cam viewing.

All that that is great. However it makes zero sense to upload video and waste valuable bandwidth for local viewing. If i was not on my own LAN then I would understand.
Bambu needs to remove the offsite everything and allow network discovery to do the common sense thing and see that the requesting IP is 1 switch hop away instead of traveling to New York and back!
Not everyone has huge bandwidth and wants to bottleneck down their internet with uploading of useless video.
I agree. If it is local, LAN only viewing then the traffic should be limited to your network. I have not used Handy but if the camera resolution is the same as through studio then it shouldn’t be that much bandwidth even remote.
Curious,if you can recall, were you activly printing or setting up a print project when those upload bumps happened?
