I designed this very simple alignment jig 3D model, to align the Bambu Laser Rotary Accessory. Without this jig, it is very hard to locate the rotary accessory on the locating pin on the laser platform. Bot sure why Bambu didn’t think of this. LOL
From the wiki, it appears that the positioning of the module isn’t expected to be perfect. At the start of a job, these markers are scanned to confirm placement and a warning is shown if the module is misaligned.
However, this is a new piece of hardware so I haven’t yet tested slight differences in alignment. So far, I haven’t been too rigorous with placement other than aligning to the locking pin and orienting the module to be parallel to the bed (by sight) but if anyone is having a different experience, I’d be interested to know!
