I’ve been fighting layer adhesion issues with Bambu Matte Black PLA for a few days now. Prints stick to the bed well, but get these areas in the middle of the print. Cleaned the nozzle and did a few cold pulls yesterday. Also did the OrcaSlicer Flow Rate and Max Volumetric Speed calibration and thought that it solved my issues until I printed this model. Using 0.20mm Standard preset, but changed sparse infill to 10% and infill pattern to Support Cubic. Haven’t seen any issues with other matte colors (although I also haven’t printed as much with them). Any ideas on how to fix this would be really appreciated.
I have had this exact issue before. I always use the refills and the spool appeared to be good until I watched during another print and you could see that at times on the one side to the spool where the filament is right up against the inner spool side, it was slightly pinched. Once I loosened up the wound filament a bit and adjusted, all was fine. You usually catch this if you watch the spool when inserting it after a replacement and its doing the test/detection phase.
Yep. I cleaned up the spool and that definitely helped. I was still getting a little bit of underextrusion, but slowing the speed down solved the issue completely.
