Hi, I have been 3d printing for a few years using Creality machines and thought I would take the plunge and purchase a Bambu P1S which is proving a good decision. I am trying to work through a few issues which is harder because I have also switched slicers from Pruslicer to Bambu and trying to get my head around the different settings and pre-sets is a little stressful.
I am starting to dial in my prints, however, I seem to be having an issue whereby I get a layer line or bulge at the top of each recess in a printed model.
I have attached a picture that shows the issue on 2 different models and I have tried reducing speeds, layer heights and changing the perimeter print order but that did not appear to make a difference.
Any suggestions would really help!
I too, came from creality to bbl. I use Orca slicer, it is a fork of bambu, afaik. It has some calibration tests. If a line is thick, then most likely it is being over_extruded. I would make an object that is, say, a cube with a recess, and experiment with the settings, instead of printing the larger object, although you could chop the larger object in the slicer.

Thanks for this I’ll give it a try, I always forget about those calibration tools in Orca!
