I have pictures of what is happening but i dont have an option to upload a picture to this thread. Without the pause the layer is black as expected but if i add a pause the layer for some reason turns grey (swaps to a different filament or stays on the last filament used from the previous layer or something). This is not a visual indicator/glitch as it does print this way as well. I simply need to know how to keep the black layer from turning into a grey layer just because i add a pause.
I would be inclined to agree except it printed it grey. I moved it down 1 layer and the entire layer then turned gold and guess what, it printed the entire layer in gold as well. As i said, this is not a visual problem because it is actually printing the layer in the color that is shown in the slicer preview as well.
Thanks for the effort, i ended up going to bed shortly after as well.
Today i updated bambu studio, restarted the pc, re-opened the project, re-sliced with no pause, added the pause back and re-sliced & then printed. Printed as expected this time.
Not really sure why the last tests kept holding on to the last color from before the pause but it seems ok on this last print now.
