Lead Screws

Front left lead screw has started to make noise at 1192 hours… Went to Bambu’s website to look for parts and couldn’t find them. Should be the same as P1 series, but didn’t find them there either. Are these parts still available or are we already losing parts supplies for the X1 and P1?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen them offered at all. For non available parts, issue a ticket, they might just quote you the replacement leadscrew

Thanks I appreciate the quick reply…. Ticket opened

Are you sure that you have to replace the lead screw? I had squeaky noises and could track it down to the belt on the bottom that connects the three lead screws. Its side rubbed on one of the wheel rims. I found some other reports and a few drops of oil on the sides of the belt solved the squeaking.

I think, you don’t find the lead screws because they are not something that ever fails usually.

There’s another topic here about the X1 lead screws (it’s actually for the bushings wearing out), but I’ve replaced them on my X1C, as well. As a previous post here states, open a ticket and request them. The part # is FAC067, and it includes the three lead screws, bushings, bearings and all hardware to replace them. The kit is 35USD and (if you don’t order anything else to get you to the 90USD for free shipping) the shipping is 6.99USD (plus your local taxes, as usual.) Not too bad a job and the Wiki shows how to do it.

Take a look to the silicone sock that’s located between the lead screw and the bearing at the top of the screw. They tend to go out of place and the screw will make scratching noises with the bearing. Simply push it down.
