So when printing from the AMS2 on the left nozzle the filament almost always breaks between the buffer and the extruder. The right side works fine. I’ve made the PTFE tube longer on the left to create gentler curves, but no luck. It happens with all filament types even when dried.
Any ideas?

Just from my experience…, is the side that is breaking a color that is only a small part of a much larger, longer in duration, print?
I constantly have breaks (just above the extruder) and shows it’s ugly head right at the end of the print when the AMS retracts the filament at the end of a print. Main color is generally on an external spool.
So with me, maybe similar to your situation, it’s not necessarily caused by any of the PTFE tubing. It’s caused by a bed full of parts and the tool head moving in every single angle very fast for hours on end causing it to break / weaken for long duration prints.
I wish the AMS would completely unload the extruder when it was done with the color instead of at the end of the print as that could happen 20 hours later, causing all the breaks. Granted, there is some gcode changes you can do to force the unloading that way.., there should be a option in BS to unload the filament when it’s no longer needed in a print to keep it from happening.
No idea if this is why it’s happening to you, but it’s why it happens to me. Obviously very easy fix., pop the PTFE off the toolhead and grab the 10cm long piece of broken filament when the print is over. But annoying none the less.
I think we have the same problem. Yes, easy fix, but when it breaks during almost every print and in the middle of a print it’s just frustrating. I mean we bought the 2 headed beast for a reason. 
I’ve resorted to right nozzle printing only. When I tried again yesterday to use both nozzles with ABS support filament on the left, it broke and stopped the print.

Yeah.. do a search. There’s been several threads on the gcode that basically tells the AMS to retract filament when done using it instead of keeping it in the toolhead.
Would definitely stop that from happening. It just hasn’t been pain for me enough (since mainly 2 color prints) in 30H print times to do it yet.
But for sure should be an option in Bambu Studio to begin with. No reason to keep the filament there you aren’t using anymore in the print IMO.
