To me this is just ridiculous low effort spam designs. Basically making these keychains with every name he could think of. I dont see that many downloads on them either… So how do you suppose he got to level 30? I know the level doesnt really mean much but just seems odd I have a variety of designs and sitting at 27 for a year

He should be banned for cheating…
BTW levels are more for downloaders than uploaders, I saw who print and download a lot has usually more level than a cool designer with lot of followers and points.
The level is not earned solely by posting designs, but rather by interaction on the platform. There are people I’ve seen with levels 25-30 with nothing uploaded ever.
Level is earned through a variety of activities on the site. Designers who simply log in, upload their designs, and log out will have a much lower level compared to those who actively engage and explore every aspect of the platform.
I have a question: What does the user level? Are their models more visible? Are there any advantages?
It used to be that levels were disconnected to anything. Currently I only know of limit regarding DMs - you can’t DM anybody unless your level is above 7. @Tanklet would need to confirm whether there’s more limits to lower levels or access from attaining higher level.
Sorry! What is the DM? direct message? :))
Yes, directly messaging someone from the MakerWorld site. Directly messaging someone on the forum is something anyone can do.
report a duplicate upload, give a good description and add some photo proof. See if that works
At present, the user level only affects the direct message function. This year, we may endow it with more significance.
dude got more downloads than i do ![]()
