Hello,
When pausing a print the extruder goes to the poop chute.
After restarting it cleans the nozzle and goes forward but the lever of the poopchute is still in the extruder what causes a ‘cracking’ sound.
Already seen others has this error to but never seen a solution.
Is this a “bug” in the gcode?

Not a bug, normal operation, normal sound.
Print head flips the lever to help the poop fall down the chute.
Yes that the extruder hits the lever is normal. But when you put the printing job in pause and restart. The extruder pulls the lever towards the front instead of pushing it.
It would help to get a picture of the toolhead and the lever arm from the back side when it is paused. Not from the front like this picture.
Is the toolhead snagging on the lever or is it doing a very aggressive Y-axis move and smacking the lever.
It realy the black lever that is “stuck” at back of the extruder and then pops out when the extruder is moving forward.
Has anybody got an answer for this?
I recently got a P1S and observed the issue a few times, seems random but when it happened the banging sound was really nerve-wracking …
I haven’t figured out the “pattern” which will trigger the situation. Most of the time the extruder first moves to the right and the poop chute lever gets out of the extruder housing fine. But occasionally the extruder just moves directly forward from the poop chute, while the poop chute lever is still in the housing, that’s when the issue happens.
It’s always when the printer restart after pause
@Glowy have you filed a support ticket? I just did yesterday and they asked me for a video of the issue. I managed to capture one today and replied to the ticket.
I’ll report back once I get more updates!
any update on this. i was thinking ti was the biiqu extduer and wheel, nozzle upgrade making it lower overall. i tightened it all up more and pushed it up maybe 1mm more if that and i tstopped the problem but came back pretty quickly. seeing people have same issue without the upgrades i did leads me to belive its the lever issue in the back not gettign ut of the way or sticking up a bit tall maybe after it has been hot and bent a little upright more? it catches/gets stuck on teh back lip of the toolhead under the lighter color plastic where it meats the dark plastic of the toolhead. its not the normal not loud clicing sound you are suppose to hear it sounds like it wants to rip off the fileamen tlever for getting stuck.
