License shown as Public Domain in Parametric Model Maker

My latest model is published under the new Makerworld Exclusive License.

However, the Parametric Model Maker shows that it is Public Domain.
This seems like an UI bug, but I may be wrong here.

Attached you’ll find the respective screenshot of the model page and PMM page.

I put in a lot of effort to separate my exclusive and non-exclusive models into separate public and private git repositories including makerworld export scripts, which would be pretty much worthless, if the code is now public domain.

Does anyone know if this is a bug or intentional?

I just confirmed that this must be a bug.

As soon as I changed the license to Standard Digital File license (the common one for makerworld exclusive models), it is not public domain anymore.

So it’s apparently a bug in the view when selecting
“Yes, but any derivative works must be published exclusively on MakerWorld” under “Allow adaptations of your work to be shared?”.

I probably encountered the same problem… I published a normal model yesterday - it is definitely NOT parametric. I only uploaded two 3MF files - for two print profiles. Nothing that would have anything to do with parametric generation (like F3D or something).

I chose the “MakerWorld Exclusive License” – if I understand correctly, it allows modifications, but you can only publish on MW (which is OK for me). The license is set up correctly, but a message appeared at the top of the model saying that the model was “created by Parametric Model Maker” + there is a MAKE YOUR MODEL button.

When I click on it, I get to a blank screen, which (understandably) does not allow me to set anything or generate anything - which is logical, because there is nothing to work with and no way to do it.

If this is a bug (and imho it certainly is), it would be good to fix it as soon as possible. To be honest, it can be quite confusing for users and gives the impression that there is something wrong with the model—that it doesn’t work.

So … correction – addition.

I have now changed the license to Standard Digital File License… and the “error” is still present – the system says model isparametric, which it is not (see above).

So, to be honest, I have no idea why MW decided to label this model this way ?? What’s strange is that my other models, uploaded recently (MW Exclusive, SDFL), are OK - the ones that are supposed to be parametric are (they have an F3D source file), and the ones that aren’t (only 3MF profiles) aren’t…

Maybe I just miss something?
