Could anyone please help me with this problem. I have a round hole in an item I am printing, the item is a cylindrical object with a hole to pass another object through. I have several variants, some smooth some fluted, some fuzzy skin and all exhibit this messy line at the top of the hole right as the hole closes. I have tried slowing the outer skin down to a crawl, changing to arachne, changing the amount of walls, changing infill pattern and density and nothing helps. It doesn’t only happen on my H2d also on x1c, p1p and a1’s. I’m. at a a loss as how to change it, any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks all and Merry Christmas.
it is because the angle is more than 45 degrees so there is nothing to hold to.
2 solutions: 1) make the shape like a ^ instead of rounded there 2) use supports
Hi eried, Why does it extend all around the cylinder? would supports fix that? Thanks
Interesting… first thing I would go in slicer to check the last layer with an interruption and the first continuous layer over the hole - there is a good chance to see something there.
