I own two X1C printers. On one of the printers, I’ve noticed strange lines/roughness on the vertical surfaces of prints. These two objects were printed using the same spool of filament but on separate machines.
Multiple copies were printed as one print job and all are more or less the same for the batch that they were printed in. The objects were sliced in Orca Slicer using default 0.08mm Extra Fine print settings and oriented on the print bed as shown in the pictures. I’ve printed them before using the same settings without issue.
I’m unsure what’s causing this and how to fix it. I’ve tried going through general cleaning/lubricating maintenance on the rods and tried cleaning the pulleys as well. It’s possible that I need to go over one of those same areas again but without knowing what’s causing this, I’m unsure where to try.
