Links on how to cut and leave the colors?

I’ve tried to cut some multi-colored models and, when I do, both pieces of the model go to one single color. Trying to find info on if there’s a setting to avoid this and can’t seem to.

This is a long standing issue.

Cut without lose painting?

Hi! Do you know if is possible to cut a object into two parts with the tool of Bambu Studio without lost the painting applied in Bambu Studio to whole object? Thanks!

I would agree that the best current workaround is what this user suggesed.

fastest and easiest way is to simply shift the model down by the height you want to start at. The slicer will only print things above the build plate, so this works great for prints that failed part way through.
