List position of new 3D prints

When uploading a new model on MakerWorld, does it show up at or near the top of the list for a while until other people’s models are uploaded?

If you upload a model but make it private, then a few days later make it public, will it show up at or near the top of the product list when you make it public, or will it not because the private version was released a few days earlier?

If you “publish” the design, regardless whether it’s private or public, that counts as the date of publication (at least it did when I last checked). That means that if you publish a private model and then 2 days later you mark it “public” then in the platform’s sorting algorithm that model will be seen as 2-day old.
