Lithograph sizing help

I would like to turn wedding invitations into a lithograph. When I make the lithograph with a fixed frame, bambu wants me to buy Bambu CMYK LED Backlight Board | Bambu Lab US Store. The size of the printed frame is 6.38 inches. I would like to make it 10 inches. And of course increase the size of the lithograph and light guide.

My question is if I make it 10 inches will I have issues with lighting using the backlight board that bambu tells me to buy? Or will the light guide plate disperse the light so the change in size wont matter? If it does matter, is there a way to make it work with the larger size?

Thanks

It won’t work unless you can expand the distance to the LED panel by a lot. I’ve got one of the clone ones here someplace, if I can find it I’ll test it with a piece of paper.

Why would I have to expand the distance a lot? Is it because the led backboard isn’t that large? What’s a clone one?

The LED backboard is basically exactly the size of the print. It is very diffuse to start with, but still you don’t want a hotspot in the middle of your larger print. Sorry I haven’t been able to play with it yet to make a measurement for you, I’d suggest just ordering one. I’m just guessing, maybe 2 or 3 inches would be sufficient?

The clones are the same as the bambu lab boards but at $5 (or less) each, but usually you need to buy them in packs.
