That’s from the hotend blob detection. It’s in the printer settings if you want to turn it off.

In the options menu, 4th item, 1st item is muting the sound. You didn’t turn on the timelapse, did you?

It depends on how confident you are in printing. If you print with one brand, have done all the necessary filament calibrations, and are slicing with your own settings, then the nozzle sticking control function can be disabled. I don’t use this function.
