Hey guys i have build an iOS and Android app for my personal use to track how my models are performing live , something that Makerworld analytics does not show you currently.
I kept it to myself but then decided to publish it to app store and now android version is in beta testing.
I spent half a year working on it form first idea and could not stop adding more and more features.
It has a few interesting features i have seem other people online were asking about. For example it shows you exact numbers after you pass 1k.
Other interesting features:
Ability to see if your model hit trending and what position it is on trading currently.
Persistent notifications
Widgets on home screen
Track multiple accounts
See your Regular and Exclusive Points if you decide to sign in.

App is paid, but it is a one time payment for lifetime ownership. I did not want to make it into subscription and i did not want to have annoying adds.
I have been using the software for a month or so. I love that it gives me data that I can’t get straight from Makerworld. But I find myself wishing for things the app doesn’t give (or maybe I don’t understand how to access the info properly). For example, I wish I could break down performance by hour, day, week, etc. How have my models done since the day last rolled over? Given the performance of my models so far today, how many points can I expect tomorrow? I see that the extension shows earnings, but the smallest interval for the report seems to be 1 week. I want to see what it was yesterday and the day before that, and most importantly, what it will be tomorrow. When I look at Analytics, it sometimes seems to skip days. For example, right now it shows how many prints I have had in the last week for every day except Friday. Friday was skipped for other stats too. Earnings seems to only count boosts, and not the value of points. On the Stats screen, I wish I knew what the time frame is for the numbers on the screen. Without that context, it isn’t very meaningful to me. Same for the Models screen. Overall, I am grateful that this tool exists. Thank you for making it. I look forward to watching the development move forward. I can see that it will be excellent.

I’m taking all of this feedback on board and will definitely look into what’s possible to implement. There are some limitations with the mobile format, both because of the smaller screen and the way data has to be pulled, but I’m writing all your points down and will tinker to see what I can realistically get in there.
My plan has actually been to release a desktop app with a bigger feature set and more granular stats, where things like future earnings predictions would fit really well. It’s almost finished, but I’ve put it on pause for now so I can finalize the Android release and fix some smaller issues people have been reporting.

You are welcome. Yes i am only showing you publicly available data that you can see on the website that is why you can use it without logging in. If you want to see your data like points you would have to login, as that is obviously behind your account login.

Hey @ElektroQuark App monitors 24 hour window from midnight to midnight, so values you will see on first install will be from time you have installed (i can’t pull historical data). Next day it will reset from midnight and start counting again.
Other values like totals on Stats page are basically your account totals for makerworld profile page.
user_775130548 yes it is 9,99$ , i have not released the Desktop app yet but i was planning to give people that purchased iOS app at least a discount for sure.
Thank you everyone i got a lot of requests for the Beta testing so i think i will pause Form submissions for now. Hopefully if all goes well app will be released in next 2 weeks in Google Play Store also for all android users and you would be able to use it.

@thczv This is a good point, my original idea was to live in a natural state for the user’s timezone, so for the user it is midnight to midnight.
You are right that MakerWorld’s own analytics page says “All timestamps are displayed in UTC+0 (GMT)” and their day boundaries are indeed 00:00 UTC.
Points rewards are also batched and posted at 22:00 UTC for the previous UTC calendar day, I verified this directly from the API.
The trade-off with switching to UTC is that the daily reset would happen at a pretty unnatural time for most users (4pm in California, 9am in Tokyo, etc.), which was exactly what I wanted to avoid with the local timezone approach.

One question I have is regarding the sorting on the models tab. When I sort my models by prints, boots, likes, or downloads, it doesn’t look like they’re sorted by the amount of total prints, boosts, likes or downloads, rather than being sorted by the current top models being printed, boosted, liked or downloaded. I would love an option to change it.

Yes, you’re right and I’m actually already working on this. I’m adding a filter option to switch between “today” and “all-time” so you can choose how the sorting works.
The original idea behind the current behavior was to have a kind of “Trending” sort for your own models, which is what I personally use by default. It looks at a combined ratio of likes, downloads, prints and boosts to show which of your models are performing right now, similar to how MakerWorld itself seems to rank things. Then on top of that I added a proper Trending Models section, so when one of your models actually lands on MakerWorld’s trending page you can see its placement there.
That said, the rest of the filters (prints, boosts, likes, downloads) really should be sorting from most to least all-time by default, so I’ll make sure that’s clear and give you the toggle to pick what you want.
@thczv I will try to see if i can implement a user setting so that you can choose what timing to follow. Theoretically should be possible. I understand different people prefer different ways to do things.
