Does anyone know of a food-safe non-pigmented transparent PLA? I am looking for a material that is marked as “food-safe” or “(EU) 10/2011"-compliant in the data sheet. In my case, the food will be dry coffee beans (I’m printing a single-dose hopper), so the porous nature of 3D prints shouldn’t be a concern. I thought that all non-colored PLA is food-save but when I asked the manufacturer of my current transparent filament, they said no.
formfutura lists their easyfil PLA as food safe, so you might want to check them out, however i think for true food safe PP is the way to go instead of PLA
Extrudr has some foodsafe filaments too. They provide a datasheet with informations about that:
Thanks for the tips, extrudr looks good (locally available).
