Looking for a CyberBrick '101' package

I’ve bought the CyberBrick basic package (1 vehicle), just to fool around with.

I see lots of vehicles, but I wonder if you could do other stuff with it, like reading in sensors and bulding robots or machines. It apears it is mostly intended as a kind of RC toy, and I can find little in the way of documentation, such as an introduction, a step by step, or something similar.

I feel that I am missing something, but I’m not sure where to look.

  1. Are the CyberBricks that limited?
  2. Is there anywhere a step by step to design your own vehicle and functions?
  3. And is there a way to use these things for other purposes than RC gadgets?

Again, the problem might lie between the keyboard and the chair, but I’m confused.

The currently-available CyberBrick components don’t include sensors but focus on transmitter input (buttons/joysticks, switches) and receiver outputs (LEDs, servos, motors). There have been components added since the original launch so it will be interesting to see what additional components are added in the future.

Although many projects focus on RC vehicles, there have also been projects that use the components for objects other than vehicles.

Here are some links to available documentation:

In particular, the technical documentation link is helpful because you can download 3D models of the components which are helpful when designing projects.
