Low ressource monitoring while printing

I’m often printing while working on the computer and have Bambu Studio open on the second screen to check in on the progress occasionally. I’m faced with a difficult choice:

a) Switch video on = good control, but a constant (minimal strain) on my cpu and permanent network load on a 2.4GHz Wifi
b) Switch video off = no idea what’s happening, just seing the progress

So it would be really nice, if we had a “low ressource” setting allowing ot set the frequency of updates. I suppose the current situation (P1S) delivers 1 frame per second. For monitoring purposes it would be more than sufficient to have 1 frame per 30 seconds or even a minute.

The P1 camera is only capable of 0.5 frames per second (FPS). The 720p stream creates a “permanent network load” of about 45 Kbps.

I would expect even an old 802.11g wi-fi network to manage at least 10 Mbps, enough to handle over 200 P1S video streams. A more typical 802.11n wi-fi network should be good for about 100 Mbps.
