Update here:

They’ve passed the details along to the relevant team and, after I asked, offered some PLA basic as replacement

So hopefully they fix it in the future, the ticket is now closed

Thanks for coming back on this.

Hopefully the PLA compensates the lost filament a bit.

Though I didn’t have this issue, it’s good they are taking action on it.

I know this is an old post but i’m having the same problem and reprinting without timelapse now. Seems like they haven’t fixed the problem yet for over half a year. Using the latest software as well. And according to Bambu H2D firmware release history couldn’t find anywhere that said it fixed layer shift due to timelapse feature
