Do the points you receive from a stage of the maker supply points incentive get added to your exclusive pool of points if the models is exclusive ? I just hit stage one with my headphone stand (exclusive model) but think it’s gone into the normal points pool. Not much of an issue just wondering if that should be the case ?
Also is there a way to see what model is associated with those points, I have a few models that will hit stage one soon but the notification doesn’t say what model and with the few days verification it’s hard to tell.
Looks like it’s separate point system, so points aren’t directly associated with a model and go into normal point system and if you have multiple models that fit the criteria its possible that points from maker’s supply incentive get bundled.
I agree it would be great to see which model it’s for, so you can track which ones you’ve received points for, especially given the delay in the review process.
A LOT! One of my models has been under review since July, and unfortunately, there’s still no way to track these. Hopefully, @MakerWorld can add a feature for this soon.
Well I’ve had two models reach stage 1 in the last few weeks so either a week or a few days but can’t tell as it doesn’t say what model it’s for. I guess if you know the BOM cost is different for each you could tell but both of mine have the same BOM price.
Thanks for finding it. Okay so I don’t even need to worry about this. I usually only use magnets and thats like 200 points if I ever reach stage 1. I maybe have one model that even has enough downloads for that.
Maker’s Supply Incentive and Exclusive Model Incentive are two distinct incentive systems. As such, the Stage 1 and Stage 2 point incentives of Maker’s Supply are added to the regular point pool.
Thanks for your suggestion. We will add the Model ID for the models we reward. This way, Creators can more easily track which models they have received points for. Please check your System message for this information, and we have attached a picture for your reference.
Since both the review of model data and the compatibility of model parts are manually conducted, and points are also awarded manually, the time for points to be awarded will be a few days after the model Downloads and Prints reach each stage target. For detailed information about the incentive rules, please see the attached link. https://makerworld.com/en/maker-supply
I have a question - I saw the point about download counts beginning only when a BOM is added to a model. I have one that uses the Makers Supply LED light board and was specifically designed around it. I’m not aware of any other light board users could substitute.
Anyway, it’s nearing the 1000 download milestone but only had the BOM for the light board since around 600-700 downloads.
Is there a way to ask powers that be to count all downloads since the part is specific to Makers Supply? There wasn’t even provision for the BOM when I posted it but it’s always referenced the Makers Supply light board.
