MakerWorld changing Model Name

I have uploaded some models and found that a couple of them haven’t got the name that I’ve given them. They have been subtly changed - which is really annoying.
Anyone else noticed this and hopefully found a workaround for it?

I noticed this when I used a word in Japanese it seemed to auto translate to a not quite right translation in English. Maybe you are having similar?

I want it to say “I Loves You” - which is the exact quote - and it shows that when I edit the model upload, but in MW it shows “I Love You”. It’s really annoying.

If you go back now and edit the model back to “loves” and hit save will it change it back? Make sure after you click off the “title” blank in your browser it doesn’t change back. I could be wrong but I think the browser auto-correct might be the culprit here.

If I go back into edit mode (without making any changes) it shows “loves” but still shows love on MW - so not an autocorrect issue.
Another model MW added words to the name - which I managed to overcome by using quotes.
It seems quite random.

That is odd. So it has to be something on their end. What Foxwood said is interesting… sometimes if you translate English to another language and then back to English it changes some words slightly. There’s no reason it should be doing that though.

Just “fixed” it by placing a space at the end of the title that was in the editor and publishing again.
So weird.

Here is my example for my model - Kumiko Lamp – “Interlocking Forms” by Foxwood - MakerWorld
I had the words Dean Katachi (I think means oval shape) in the title but Makerworld changes it to “Interlocking forms” so assume there is some translation element to titles. No big deal to me but its kinda interesting.

Very weird indeed. This is the name I gave in the editor:

And this is the totally different name given by MakerWorld:

And here the link to the model, not sure what it shows other users:

I’ll try modifying the name a bit but this is just very weird and frankly unacceptable? With an extra space at the end it becomes better but still it modifies it. Any idea why and how this happens?

I have changed the name (for the better) and now it seems to be the same name as in the editor:

But this is just something that should not happen
