Is anyone else having issues opening the MakerWorld site with Firefox in Windows? It starts to open and just hangs trying to open all of the model previews. I have tried clearing my cache, restarting etc. It worked fine yesterday and works with Chrome.
FireFox, no chrome. From US. works for me.
Hadn’t been to the site for a while and got the pop-up below. Probably not related but interesting to me.

PrintMon Maker & AI Scanner – Service Discontinuation Notice

Dear MakerWorld users,
The PrintMon Maker and AI Scanner in MakerLab have accompanied many of our community members through a long creative journey, and we sincerely thank every user who has used them.
However, as technology continues to evolve and expectations for model quality keep rising, the current form of these two tools has become increasingly difficult to meet the community’s standards for creative quality and user experience. After careful evaluation, we have decided to discontinue their services in the near future.
Discontinuation Schedule
Starting September 20, 2026:
- AI Scanner will be officially shut down and will no longer be accessible.
- The PrintMon Maker entry will be removed from MakerLab. You can still access it via existing links, but you will no longer be able to create new projects, use any AI generation features, or edit existing projects. However, projects and models in PrintMon Maker that have already been confirmed using MakerLab credits will be retained long-term, and you will still be able to export your models.
Thank you for your continued support of MakerLab. Farewells are not the end — more powerful and refined tools are on the way, so please stay tuned.

It started working all of a sudden. I am not sure what was going on. I tried for over an hour to get it to open. Now I am struggling with a model update to get verified. The print profile went quickly, the model page has been “verifying” for over four hours now.
If you are not haveing any issues with any other web sites then the issue is probably some where between you and makerworld and you may just have to wait it out.
For me work good in firefox.
I see no issues with Firefox. Maybe an extension you have is causing the problem? adBlocker?
