Making a vase waterproof

Hello everyone.
Are there any people here who are familiar with the different printing settings for making a vase waterproof?
I’m referring specifically to the seams, infill, etc.
What settings should I prioritize?

I just pour in clear FlexSeal, roll it around to coat the inside, and pour out the excess. For one-off projects it seemed easier than printing over and over to tune settings until getting something water tight. Not the best solution if you want to print multiple vases, though.

It works for me… a vase printed with Galaxy PLA; two weeks in use - no leak

Depends on what exactly you’re trying to print, the filament, and some other attributes.

Plenty of walls and base layers is always a winner.

Brick layers allows better watertightness with fewer walls and base layers.

Some extension settings will deliver more print volume per unit distance, resulting in more “squish” into the previous layers.

I do pretty much the same thing, but with a food safe resin.

Most of the time, adding a sealant is a lot easier than fussing with print settings,
