I purchased my A1 with ams during the Black Friday sale and have been actively using it for about 2 weeks now. After having a print fail I narrowed down the issue to the build plate being dirty and rinsed it with some dish soap and a sponge but when cleaning it noticed these marks on the plate. I’m not sure how long they have been there since they only seem to be visible when the light reflects off of them in a certain way. I was wondering if anyone else has these dots and what do they mean?
Could you put some better pictures?
To the touch they don’t feel like anything’s wrong and even at most angles you can’t see them but they are very present when the light reflects a certain way
Kind of looks like filament stuck in spots.
Wow. I am really not sure on this one. Do you know if it came like that? Have you accidentally damaged the build plate anytime?
Thanks,

Happy printing! And welcome to the Bambulab Community!
It might be. Try washing your plate with IPA if you have some.
Thanks,

I haven’t used any type of glue on the build yet a don’t think it’s filament marks because I cleaned it and scrubbed it and the marks remain. What is weird is that it only seems to be on the right side of the plate.
I’m not sure if it came like that I really don’t think it did. I can’t remember doing anything to damage it in any way so I’m going to flip the plate on the other side and see if the dots reappear after some use.
The marks on the plate look like hard water spots to me. I could be wrong, but I got them on my dishes before the water softener was installed. I don’t think that they will affect your prints or bed adhesion.
