Long story short, always had a weird issue of sometimes my H2D doesn’t start up normally (the exhaust fan boosts up to 100% and cannot turn off during booting up and after booting up).
It’s a issue of MC board, so Bambu sent me a new one.
Interestingly, it came with the new heatsink from H2S (supposedly solved the MC board overheat issue during long 65C chamber temp printing sessions)：
So… guess it’s the same board, just thermal revision.
In case you don’t know, earlier batches of H2D (at least, for mine), ships with a heatsink that is not very effective. The main problem is that the fan air flow doesn’t hit on the heatsink fully. The revisioned heatsink bends its fins to reach more for the air flow, and is supposedly to work a lot better.

Hello, interesting! Is anything else visibly different on the board rev? If not, one may assume that dismounting the sink and forming the fins to suit, then remounting with either fresh tape/Bergquist or compound, would allow you to match performance of the up rev.
Fins alteration: vise clamp the sink lengthwise, and use duckbill visegrip plier to bend to match. Not exceeding 45 degree bends, pre-heat would be good, it’s typically 6063 alloy.
Also curious: do the heatsink 2x screws go into fixed pem nuts? Can the heatsink be dismounted without unplugging and removing the whole board?
cant tell any other difference from heat sink. They share same screw holes. In fact I suspect that the new fins are just pre bent in factory using the same metal parts…
