Anyone else having an issue where their messages notification bubble (regardless on computer or handy app) showing a large number of unread messages? Every time I open the app or go on the website on my PC I’d see a 10 unread notification bubble for my chat tab but disappear when I click on it because there are none unread. I then deleted 2 or 3 of the older messages in there and now i’m getting a 23 unread notification bubble. As someone with OCD and loves to have an empty inbox at work, it drives me nuts and I dont know what it started doing this a couple weeks ago. Anyone else?
You can see it constantly [now] says I have 26 unread messages, but there are none.
I’m not having that issue, but I’m using all apple products (iphone, macbook, ipad). There are some notification settings you could change, maybe that would help?
I went through them, turned on/off and such. I mean i still want to get the notifications, but I dont know why its given them as unread when there is nothing unread…it also only started doing this like 3 wks ago or so. Happens on my PC and Android phone so i think its some sort of makerworld bug.
wait you are getting app pop up notifications on apple products ?
No, I said I’m not having the issue, but I use all apple products, to provide a data point that the issue may be related to the ecosystem OP is using.
Bumping this up, wondering if anyone has a fix? My notifications are now showing 56 anytime I load in to the app, but they’re all ghost notifications. If I havave any legit ones it’s all then to the number so I know notifications are working.
Nobody else seems to be having this issue. Please scroll all the way down in your messages to check if there are any unread.
Believe me, I been through everything. The odd thing is it’s related to messages because when I log on to makerworld.com via web browser the same number shows up on my messages icon. Like the chat section. Actually deleting the chat conversions made it go up higher. For instance it was at like 20 something and I deleted all my conversations and now its at 54. There def something weird going on bug wise.
