I am getting a little tired of the compulsory use of the micro SD card. Specially when It has forced me to cancel prints near the end of the print due to the card being full? I am guessing this is the issue because I don’t keep time lapses. and my camera stopped working after replacing the damn circuit board where the SD card goes.
I have never had this issue before. It’s only when getting a new card and card slow that this is happening. I never had to clear the damn sd card before.
It’s extremely frustrating. Is there any way at all to make it so I don’t need to use the SD card?? I HATE it… I absolutely HATE the fluffing around having to delete files before starting a new print. I have never had to do that before and I don’t know why I have to start now.
If I have to lose another damn print because the damn card is full or some other ridiculous BS related to the damn card happens I’m switching to another brand or something.
I apologise for the frustration and rage in my tone but I am extremely angry that I have lost ANOTHER print. I am on budget and can’t afford to throw $20 away on another spool of filament because of this ridiculous situation.
Please let me know if there is ANY way at all of getting around stuffing around deleting files off the sd card before every print just incase this error pops up at 85% complete point.
Have you replaced the cheap sd card it comes with? It’s generally recommended to replace it with a quality Sandisk or similar with more memory.
Recently I was having problems with the sd card and it was a sd cards i bought only months back. A Sandisk with 128gb on my a1 mini and 256gb on my P1S. I had situations where the older prints were getting corrupted and prints would cancel by themselves. People on Reddit told me that is what happens when the card starts getting messed up. I also had a lot of errors using Handy. Well I reformatted all my machines memory cards and no longer have any errors of any kind.
Have you looked at the file sizes By chance?
The files in general are relatively small when using a GB sized sd card.
I 've been on this forum a year now and you are the first person I have heard of that the card was full.
The cards get corrupted occasionally but never heard of a full sd card. P1S camera is very low frame rate so even video files are relatively small.
Are you formatting as FAT32, and formatting in the printer rather than your computer?
P1S will accept up to a 2TB micro-SD card but whatever size you use, it must be FAT32. I do not know if this is the case with the P1S but it may be preferable to format in the printer Rather than a laptop or PC
