I suceed round engraving big objet :
But now i want to engrave a ring. it’s impossible to launch the prepare process saying ‘it didn’t detect the objet’ . i tryed with my own measurement .but it was totally offset ?
can somebody try? and let me know .

i don’t understand why there are those limitations other laser can solve it with no problems !
i bevieved it was just the fixing limitation not the full process?
If the cup is equipped with a detachable handle, remove the handle first to ensure optimal processing results.
For better processing quality, it is recommended not to place the jaws directly above the workpiece.
3. Processing of small objects such as spheres and rings is not supported.

I have zero idea how the software functions for the laser, but I wonder if it would be possible to make a mandrel big enough to fool it into not knowing you were doing their vaguely defined “small objects”? Something like a stepped mandrel so the chuck side was larger diameter to fool it maybe? Unless it’s a minimum diameter limitation or they are using camera images to stop you.
Again, just an idea based on absolutely no knowledge of the laser system, but I have done similar work arounds on other machines in the past that made me think of it.
