Whats the likely problem/fix with this print where the grey layers aren’t sticking right?
It was working fine but m the first print, and i reprinted teice to this same problem.
Using asa
There is some serious under-extrusion issues with this print. The layers aren’t “shifting”, the printer is trying to print on areas that “should” have filament below them but they don’t. Since there is no filament there, the printer is bridging and will form these connecting lines on inside corners.
The under-extrusion is possibly caused by a partially clog nozzle. Suggest starting with performing a cold pull.
Thank you. I will try a cold pull.
I did noticed when it transitioned from the brown color to tthe grey color, the fist layer of the grey was very faint. I didnt think much of it but I guess it was under extruding.
Strangely, both brown and grey are ASA and the brown seem to extrude just fine.
I tried the cold pull, the printed with left nozzle and immediately saw it under extruding… Right nozzle is fine..
So I swapped out the left nozzle for a new nozzle.. Looks like its printing normal agian.
Thanks!
