Also, assuming most of these relate to the other platforms, not just Mac.
New to 3D printing, starting with the H2D, mind you… but aren’t we allowed to do/be that? Isn’t Bambu supposed to be fairly like an Apple Computer? Somewhat walled garden, but just “works” most of the time? (Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been an apple technician for end user SW/HW, and I am not what you’d call a fanboy, I have more criticism to dump than you all combined, and I uncover myriad bugs every time I sit down to work, and I have a over 2 dozen items of feature & bugs to share with you all, so strap in, but I’ll get a whole bunch locked in on this one thread, so we’ll make it out alive).

Many tooltips missing. Or completely unclear / insufficient. (A tooltip, in this program, is a popup that appears when you let the cursor rest over a parameter’s value field/tickbox, mb parameter name in some cases?)

Many functions not defined (clicking cannot be done to take you to a wiki page (the setting doesn’t generate an underline when your cursor hovers over the name, meaning there is nothing that will happen when you click, it is not clickable)

No clear guide to all the settings in an H2D, even on the wiki pages, many settings not described at all by navigating appropriate pages (that define neighboring settings).

Broken wiki links in top nav bar (navigating back through categories / labels for example)

No settings master list ANYWHERE for bambustudio to easily find a description of what a setting does, not even like 1 sentence just repeating the parameter name (even the kids struggling the most in English class always define a word using that word! This isn’t a reference to English speaking… this is a reference to the fact that there IS NO INDEX of parameters that I know of… I would be so grateful to be wrong about this.).

Poor search function in wiki, what you want is either not there at all, or is first result. Certain pages come up all the time for almost any/every search.
i.e. What is Top Paint Penetration Layers setting?
Yes, I can search the net for every single one of my dozens, and dozens of settings… but there ain’t always answers for them…
- In BambuStudio (Mac) Searching for a setting name with the search function doesn’t apply to drop down menu options/items, only the name of the setting, not possible values.
For example, online people talk about using “Arachne” mode, but if you search that, it’s not there.
In BS, You have to search for “Wall Generator” and then change it from Classic. But how would I know to search that, since people DO NOT reference “Wall Generator” specifically, there are many other names for it, i.e. “wall type”, perhaps because the setting is also called something else in different slicers…
