Model cut axis

Hello fellow makers, this may have been discussed already but I cant seem to find any posts relating to the cut option being able to change the default axis so when you select the cut option it will automatically set which axis you prefer the cut line to be at. If this isnt possible may i suggest this is included in future releases and if anyone would be interested in this change. It may well be me thats being lazy but if you design a model which you need to check the fit on certain parts because im no expert engineer and often get the fit a little off, i print just the part i need to test so i use the cut feature A LOT lol.
Thanks

I’m not totally clear on what you mean by this.

The only options are to grab the arrows in the X and Y plane. You can pivot the X and Y plane but there is no way to change the default. As soon as you invoke the cut tool, the default plane is in the X and Y plane.

cuts option

If I understood you correctly, I’m hard pressed to see the utility of changing the default orientation. Sure, it would be nice, but in the overall scheme of requested new features, there are other items that would make a far bigger quality of life improvement in the slicer. And historically, Bambu has not incorporated a single user request since its inception. I often wonder why they even bother having a suggestions section.

Thanks for getting back to me my friend.
This option is easy enough to change the axis as you wish im just lazy i guess i like to do things as quickly as possible and for me it would be faster if the default axis was vertical but like you say, im just a mino in a pond full sharks. I didnt think they would change it just for me which is why i was asking peoples thoughts but from what i understand im guessing not many people would benefit from the change and they have other issues to resolve like the connection issue when youre internet is down, it seems these days every man and his dog wants to know what you spend youre hard earned money on and what youre using it for. No privacy these days but thats another topic.
I appreciate youre help with this, have a great day my friend. Bye for now
