Modifier color on painted modell

Hey,
I have a already painted model and I want to set some text to it.
So iadd text, and set it to modify, but the color don’t change.
If i remove the painting it works fine, so i think the modifier will be overpainted too.
Has someone a workaround for my problem?

Consider using the filament painter with the paint bucket tool.

Its a a bit clumsy but if you’re struggling with modifiers it may be easier for you.

It won’t show up unless you have two or more filaments selected as well as the part/object you wish to paint.

Hi

If you add text and select the modifier option, the added text is an object intended to change the print within the coincident volume region.
It will work if you change the modifier text’s filament type (colour).
However, in the case of surface paint, it will overlap the modifier.
e.g.

The black painted region of the top surface overlaps the text.

As well as any other paint, e.g. intermediate layers:

i.e., the text print stops in the layers painted blue and will only continue after it.

It will be easier to provide an alternative if you share details about your goal.

That’s exactly the problem.
I want the text in this red heart.

I would recommend using the approach proposed by @JayZay , add a rectangle modifier around the text and the play with the order of the objects in the Object tree. You can just drag and drop them in the tree to determine an application sequence.
