More time for a print

How comes that a print that took yesterday 2 hours to print takes today 5 hours to print?

Allhelp welcome, thank you.

All kinds of reason… maybe you changed your A1 mini to 50% (Silent Mode).

(You should minimum link to the model on MakerWorld or provide a screenshot if you want an actual answer.)

My printer is a P2S.

I did not changed it. The only thing i did was to try a print that took a long time to print.

Maybe that changed something.

Probably not, printers don’t run on “magic.” But you should really start explaining a lot better what happened. Was the first one an STL, the second one a 3MF, and then when you opened the STL again you had the 3MF settings that were different from your previous settings?

Sorry, but you are not providing enough information… so unless you want everyone to offer their best guess of the 100 possible things, put a link to the model you tried to print or take a screenshot of your slicer setting or something that gives people here something to work with.

Has the layer height changed ?

This model is set to 0.16

same model at .20

That would be my guess as well, that’s why I was hinting at…

Most likely scenario, the first one was an STL (at stock .20 layer height) and the next one a 3MF that used .08 or something like that… now using the STL from before the “new” layer height stays at .08 from the last 3MF file instead of .20 and that’s the difference…

…if that is in fact the case, somebody needs to start reading the manual: https://bambulab.com/en/support/academy

Thank you for your answers.

I set the diameter to 0,8 and then back to 0,4 and now it takes less time to print.

I don’t understand it , i think a gost in the machine.
