Just received my second A1 printer and ran into a error message.
When trying to select the “ Calibration” it provides the message “ The motor self-check failed” Error code: 0300-400E 090921
It updated to the latest firmware.
Makes noise and then the bed may back and forth in the Y direction but you can not calibrate the printer.
Any suggestions to fix

Try unplugging the USB cable sled underneath it, inspecting, and reseat the cable sled. Make sure it’s connected and held in place while you tighten the screw that holds the position.
I did find the issue. When I took the sled out and inspected the yellow connector on the board there was some kind of debris / dirt. took contact cleaner and cleaned it , reconnected it and it now work. It was making only a partial connection. Not sure where the debris would come from besides their assembly plant.
