After cleaning my Z axis drives (worm gears) I wanted to lube them and run the build plate up and down a few times. Moving the plate over the full Z range using the phone app or the P1S screen is REALLY slow and tedious.
Is there some more automated way to send the plate up and down?
No. You have to use the tedious way I think. But if you calibrate your bed, you might be able to get away with spamming the up and down buttons and your printer will just get to it when it loads. Just be careful not to damage your bed by trying to send it further than it can go
Hit the Home icon before moving the plate or extruder. Then the printer will ignore commands to go beyond the stops.
PandaTouch is able to do 10 steps instead of one. XYZ. Just be even more careful…
