MQTT Error after Sending Through Bambu Connect

I just updated firmware on one of my X1C machines from the preauthentication release to the latest. Since then, I have been trying to send test gcode 3mf files to the printer with Bambu Connect and every time I do, the file does not transfer and I get an MQTT Command Verification Failed error on the printer.

It does not matter if the file was created using Orca or Bambu Studio.

Bambu Studio is able to send files directly just fine, as expected, but it just doesn’t work with Bambu Connect.

I have logged out and back in. No change.
I can use Bambu Connect to send to my other, non update printers.
Both the firmware and Bambu Connect are the latest releases.

Any idea how to resolve this?

It seems bambu is scared of competition or something. Locking down our machines after buying them, after working with OrcaSlicer without issue.

I hope I’m not too late to sell this printer on the secondhand market.

p.s.
It’s not that it’s a bad printer, but I can see the writing on the wall. It’s going to get worse with this company now that they are showing their real colors. I’m out before no one wants this printer. Not even second hand.

Do you need to enable developer mode for the X1 ?

I was considering an AMS HT for my X1C. but if even the official tool doesn’t work with their own printers that will certainly not happen. This is a massive disappointment.

@BambuLab , @SupportAssistant , any chance that you could clarify, if we will see a fully working release of Bambu Connect anytime soon?

I hope they fix it, or we have to do custom firmware for the machines or Jailbreak them. Sorry to say so, but that´s how it is going to be.

That would mean giving up a lot of convenience that I don’t want to miss. I’m using the smartphone app a lot.
Until the “security update”, I was able to have the app and use the slicer I prefer. Many other manufacturers have cloud access and don’t see the need to lock in the slicer, so apparently it is possible to have a secure cloud connection without the need for such steps.
